These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of 48 Hour Engine and the services we provide. 48 Hour Engine is operated by Hogard Business Services, LLC, an Illinois limited liability company ("48 Hour Engine," "we," "us," or "our"). By purchasing or using our services, you agree to these Terms.
Our Service
48 Hour Engine builds marketing deliverables — such as a competitive audit, SEO foundations, brand positioning, email content, social media content, and paid ad strategy — for local service businesses, delivered within 48 hours of a completed intake. The specific deliverables included depend on the tier purchased (Starter, Growth, or Accelerator), as described on our pricing page at the time of purchase.
Growth and Accelerator are ongoing subscriptions, billed automatically on a monthly basis until cancelled. Starter is a one-time, single purchase with no recurring charge.
Payment and Billing
All prices are as listed on our pricing page at the time of purchase. Subscription plans renew automatically each billing period at the then-current price until cancelled. Payments are processed securely through Stripe.
Cancellation
You may cancel a Growth or Accelerator subscription at any time through your client dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you will retain access through the period you've already paid for, and will not be charged again afterward.
Refund Policy
All sales are final. We do not offer refunds, in whole or in part, for any tier or service, once a purchase has been made. This applies regardless of whether you use the deliverables provided. If you have concerns about your order, please contact us — we're happy to work with you on the deliverables themselves, but purchases are not refundable.
Ownership of Deliverables
Once delivered and paid for, the specific marketing content, copy, and strategy documents created for your business are yours to use. We retain ownership of our own underlying systems, processes, and templates, and reserve the right to use general strategies and non-identifying insights from your engagement to improve our service.
No Guarantee of Results
We provide marketing strategy and content based on the information you give us and our own research. We do not guarantee any specific business outcome, including but not limited to increased leads, sales, search rankings, or revenue. Marketing results depend on many factors outside our control.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, 48 Hour Engine is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Acceptable Use
You agree to provide accurate information about your business and not to use our services for any unlawful purpose or to request content that is illegal, defamatory, or infringes on others' rights.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our services after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Illinois.
